Heavy Jugs

Workout- 2miles / 00:22 min / 11:14 pace

My Saturday through pictures and tangents.

Packed my running motivation for our mini vacation from the city

We had a late breakfast at our favorite diner- Peggy Sues

Changed the look of my blog. I felt it was time for some change. Hope you like it. It took about an hour and a half.

Gross eyebrows... that need some maintenance
Try finding a eyebrow threading shop in a town you don't know all that well. I called around to some places I found online who said they threaded eyebrows. I drove 20 minutes to some ghetto hair salon that called themselves a day spa. They quickly shut me down by saying they didn't do eyebrow threading, only waxing. Thanks false advertising for wasting my time and gas.

Googled another threading location that sent me 30 minutes in the opposite direction.  Uhhh.... I'm stubborn and super focused once I set my mind to something.

Check out my cool shirt!
The only other good thing that came out of running all over town was the amazing gas prices. Prices in the city are crazy- $4.15. I couldn't resist and had to fill up.

$3.82 Reg- only in IN
I picked up some dinner for the hubs and I (I'm taking care of him since he's sick with a head cold).

Rushed home to get my little run in before dusk. I decided to run on the beach, reasons being- avoiding getting hit by cars (no sidewalks in the neighborhood) and cushioned running ground.

Looks like I went for a swim not a run according to garmins mapping of my run

As I took my first few strides I realized I needed a different sports bra for these new heavy jugs, but I didn't have time to waste.

My thigh looks ginormous

Taking pictures of myself while running or driving is not such a great idea
at about .30 miles I though it would be a good idea to run on the strip closest to the water... just to find out it was like quick sand and I practically sunk. My shoes and socks were soaked and I felt I was caring ankle weights.

I saw these two geese and had to stop for a quick picture

The sunset at the end of my run
Couldn't have asked for a better finish to my mini run.

At the end of my run.

i met my goal of running three runs in one week. what a great feeling.

What a beautiful run! I cannot wait to run on sand someday!!! Gas here in Anchorage is like 4.06 I think...

I love the cuteness of the new page, very bright and spiritly. I read on runnersworld.com before about sports wear made specifically for pregnant women, maybe they make special bras for the added baggage during pregnancy...but they are probably like a million bucks a pop!

Your beach run looks like it was rather relaxing, besides the whole quicksand incident.

Great job! You look so pretty and refreshed after your run! Not all sweaty and gross like me! I like that you drew the Finish Line on the sand - someday I hope I can run on the beach too. Gas is Columbus is $3.75 and I was complaining about that this weekend. Over $4? Yikes! I shouldn't complain! I like your blog - purple is my favorite - is is perfect for Spring!

hahaha, the fact that the title of this post is indeed what I was wondering it was about is a.w.e.s.o.m.e. :)
